How to Get Here From There – Revere, Massachusetts 

Revere, Massachusetts is conveniently located northeast of the Bay State along the rocky shoreline just a few rail stops to Boston. Whether you are headed into the city to catch a game at Fenway or TD Garden or hoping to visit the lighthouses that dot the shoreline along Cape Ann, Revere is the perfect place to begin your journey as it has so many choices when it comes to transportation. 

Getting around Revere, Boston, and the beautiful North Shore of Massachusetts could not be easier. 

Let’s explore some of the ways you may want to travel to this historic and stunning region of New England.

By Train 

The Massachusetts Bay Transit Authority (MBTA) Blue Line has three main stops in Revere for commuters and explorers to access. 

  • Beachmont Station on the Blue Line is located at 630 Winthrop Avenue with trains arriving every 5-6 minutes on weekdays and every 9-11 minutes on the weekends. 
  • Wonderland Station on the Blue Line of the MBTA is located at 1300 North Shore Road with crossover access to 11 bus routes. This stop on the “T” will get you closest to Revere Beach with a short 10-12 minute walk. 
  • Revere Beach Station is located on the Blue Line as well at 220 Shirley Avenue. It also has transfers to bus routes at this station. 

By Bus 

In addition to subway stops in and around Revere, there are several bus stops that can get you within walking distance to Revere Beach. These include 110, 117, 450.

By Car or RideShare 

Revere is a short car ride to Boston, Massachusetts. 

Using the Uber or Lyft apps, you can arrive at your destination in Boston in approximately 8 minutes. Or perhaps you are headed to the sand and sun on the beaches of Cape Cod, which will take you about an hour and a half depending upon the traffic. If you are headed to the mountains of New Hampshire or Maine, you are looking at a one to two-hour drive depending upon your specific destination.

Logan Airport 

Logan International Airport is located just a few miles down the road from Revere Beach and the heart of Revere/Boston activities and events. 

There are four ways to get from Boston / Logan Airport to Revere Beach – bus, subway, taxi, car, or RideShare. Line 22 Bus or Revere Beach Station on the Blue Line is one way to get to the hub of Logan. Additionally, the Boston taxi system, RideShares, or town cars are efficient and clean and could get you to Logan from Revere in 10 minutes.
