Discover the Historic Birthplace of the American Revolution
This city is considered the birthplace of the American Revolution where John Adams and the Sons of Liberty inspired colonists to fight for their independence against British rule. In 1620, Pilgrims fled England on the Mayflower and settled in the town we call Provincetown, Massachusetts today. Then a decade later in 1630, Puritan colonists fled a new land to pursue religious freedom, first landing in Salem, eventually making their way to Boston. Today, Boston has a population of about 654,000 people.
Visit Boston and experience its historical landmarks by taking a tour of the Freedom Trail where you’ll uncover the Paul Revere House, the Old State House, the Old South Meeting House, and more. These sites were integral to the American colonist’s fight for freedom.
